Why did the customer contact us?

Oh the joys of new home ownership! These customers called me because they were painting their house and they found mold on the bottom of a wall, which turned out to be mold throughout the basement. The mold was hiding behind the wall from a flood that was there before they moved in. Unfortunately, the previous owners tried to hide it and they discovered it after moving in.

Solutions provided:

To remediate the mold, we set up air scrubbers in the affected area to catch mold and other contaminants in the air and put plastic up to prevent it from spreading into the rest of the house. We removed the affected drywall and treated the areas with Decon30. They were so glad the mold was removed and their home was safe again. They decided to do the drywall repair themselves.
